Da End

Hey, this year has been memorable in many ways; both the good and the bad. So why not I try to make a list of what I consider to have made both this year and the last so memorable.

Orientation 2005 - Vollywood:
I really felt great during that week, and it helped me to get used to JC life as well. The OGLs were great and I had a great OG too! Aranna and Akut! I can still remember! Haha Plus Orion, our ally! Haha, OG bbq, sea regatta and all those dinners we had together are things I surely wont forget.

Bridging Curriculum, Helmsman Week:
Honestly, I dreaded the first few weeks in VJ, just like back at VS. I didn't feel as though I clicked with the rest of the class and that certainly didn't bode well for my future in the IP. In fact, I hated the first month of school, especially helmsman. Was I dunno, empty.

Beyond Borders - Tokyo, Japan
Probably the best ever experience that I have had in the IP. Spent a great time there and learnt more about myself through the trip. Many unforgettable experiences, espcially MT Fuji. Its here that I realised how important it was to cherish those memories, that I would never get to experience again. I was just damn sad to come back.

Service Learning/Family 3:
All I can say is that it was really great, thanks to the GREAT leader. Bah, it was a fun time, teaching old people and stuff. I had just never done smth like this before and it was a great change, and I learnt alot from this. Thanks to the 8 of you - justin, samuel, beatrice, nazri, DW, jobo and of course ZQ! Hopefully we can do smth similar to this next year!

SYSF:
Lol, that's all I can say. We hardly expected to get into the finals, haha. Amazingly we did and we got a silver! Haha, it was great working with the rest of the team and its truly an experience that made me appreciate the importance of teamwork. Killer job, considering the fact that it was during a SUPER TIGHT week. I had my mid year exams + lots of other stuff. Lol, still can't forget the day that Mr Teo got quite pissed of with us for not having prepared at all.

EZSF:
Too bad wilbur couldn't take part in this, but we got a GOLD. Cleaven's group got a silver as well. We didn't do THAT much prep for this considering the fact that it was the same project that we had sent for SYSF. But still, a job well done.

Overseas Indie-venture Trip - West Coast 2006
This trip was very different from Japan in many aspects. Japan was more of trip where I got to understand myself and the people around me better. I had a helluva great time here with my friends as well, but I got to see what the world could offer me. Visiting Apple and Google are definitely highlights of the trip - and I sure hope I get the oppotunity to go back there once more. I still remember the times when we made MR Ng cry, the jacuzzi, american TV, audrey's suicide attempt, Daniel laughing at the slightest thing and all those random moments which made this trip so memorable.

Invigorate
I still keep remembering the moment when we won the penalty shootout to wni the soccer component of Invigorate. Man, the feeling was great. Loved everyone moment I played and the v14 pple cheering us on made it better. Floorball was equally good! So was Volleyball and Bball! And I think everyone did a splendid job, and we deserved the Gelare vouchers.

I think there's more, I'll maybe post them later. PLus this doesnt count a lot of other memorable times spent with you people. ; ) That'd would be a post by itself.

To a great year.

I miss you 2006.

X-X

Hey. So today is Christmas. Yay. I honestly don't know what I'm doing. Seriously. Just feel that these holidays have been highly unproductive. A little more than a week left before being caught in the vicious cycle of school again. That also means that I have to wake up 5 hours earlier than I usually have to.

The year is finally coming to an end. One more year till another even year comes around. I don't know why but even years are usually better for me. but recently, there isn't really much difference. They are all just... good, i guess.

I'm bored. I hate to say that I'm bored. Bahh.

Oh yah. Survivor has come to an end, which has made me really sad. Hahaaaaaaaaaaaaa. But it's great the genius of a Yul won it. Apparently he studied at Yale and Stanford Law school, which sounds really scary. But nonetheless, it was great show to watch. Yeah.

Well i guess I haven't really talked about it. We're going to split up next year. But I guess it's not going to be much of a difference to a lot of pple cos we're still going to be together rite? Yeah we are. Started getting in touch with my VS friends who are coming down next year. Well, at first, I was really looking forward to them coming. But I think I am more or less used to the fact they are, and I really can't wait to meet them.

Speaking of next year, I just remembered Orientation. Well, many pple I have been talking to say they plan to pon a few days of orientation, which I feel is a stupid idea. Come on, you're already different from the mainstream pple and skipping a few days of orientation is just going to make it worse. It's just going to reflect badly on us and make the whole "integration into the mainstream" thingy worse.

Man, I cant think straight anymore.

Life is just going to become another tiring routine again next year. Well, I don't have to go to Bishan twice a week anymore! But then again, school's going to end late as well I guess. So no point sounding overly happy there.

Well, I've been having this niggling feeling in the back of my head that I have made the wrong choice by choosing economics. I think I made another fast, hasty decision. My econs isn't really that great or anything. I just wanted to do smth that would give me a proper backgrd in finance. even though econs has nothing to do with that, i thought it could give me the basic BASIC idea behind the whole idea of finance, which is really wrong. So, after I got into the AP thing at SMU, I am planning to crash geog lectures and check them out. Just see how things are going down there, and I may just choose to make a change after 3 months.

Although I don't think I may change considering all the various.... nvm.

This is getting long, boring and draggy.

Well a list of resolutions maybe.

Erm, getting fit is definitely one of my top priorities. Finally got a silver this year after passing pullups and SITANDREACH. Just need to maintain push harder. Soccer and wilbur's was completely humiliating. Get into a CCA and stay in it. Not talking about ICS here. hehe. Thought of trying out for SC but realised that that was a bad idea. Go some place new and have a blast during june holidays. And of course, academic excellence. well, just these 4 for the time being. Isn't a lot right?

Freddie Mercury, the greatest ever.

Cook

Hey

" Mutineers are the first to die man, mutineers are the first to die."

"
The surface area supporting us is about the same, but your mass goes up at a faster rate than the surface area. It's kinda like why elephants can't run up trees."

Even though I know who won, Yul and Ozzy all the way. Man, these 2 guys amaze me. Wow.

Back

Hey. I'm back after a week long trip to motherland. Went to see my grandad, who was sick. Went with my mom and sis. My dad didn't want to go. He had work plus he didn't want to see his parents. Anyway, it was alright. Got to spend some time, away from distractions such as the net or the TV, which is very good. Most importantly, time with the family. Came back yesterday with my sis. My mom wanted to spend some more time back there.

So, ok. I don't know what to talk about rite now. Oh yah. Tags. Thana has finally tagged. Please continue! So has cheok! wow, really surprised at these tags. PLus, eugene has tagged after a long time as well! Erm so has pearlyn and wilbur. Appreciate very much.

Just a picture to entertain all of you.

For a Minute There, I Lost Myself

Hey. Life's been quite a drag recently. Haven't been doing much, just bumming around. I just realised how important Youtube has become to me, which is really sad. Nvm. Just a few days ago I went down to Thana's house again to play soccer, but I doubt I can do this regularly. It's just so far. Bah. Anyway, I got to watch Casino Royale today. I went to watch it with my mom, dad and sis. Trust me, don't watch it with your parents.

I mean, I had my doubts over watching it with my parents but man, it was downright embarrasing. Lol. Especially the part where he's getting tortured and wants that bad dude to scratch his balls or something. I personally found that really amusing. Haha. However, on the whole, I really enjoyed this movie. I thought the movie was about to end 3 times over but I was cheated. Nonetheless, an interesting movie, and the best ever Bond movie I have watched. I guess this was the easiest one to relate to. And knowing how to play Poker would make it more interesting as well I think. Yeah. Let me do that music shuffle quiz thingy.

You know what. Let's do it later.

Well, I'm bored.
