Porn.

One thing i vow never to do: Watch porn.

I hate it. It just sucks. When i was back in VS, it was supposed to be a cool thing and stuff. I was kinda outcasted for not watching it - not a man yet.

Watching a little bit made me feel so bad. From that moment, i swore never to do it again.

Its just so immoral. I dunno why, but it's just wrong. After certain things that have been circulating around, i felt like posting this post.

There'll never be gender equality until:

1. Men stop watching porn [which is highly unlikely] OR

2. Women start watching porn [which is highly unlikely as well(*male porn that is)]

Therefore, there will never be gender be gender equality in my opinion.

What a hasty generalization.... haiz....

Conference.

I went to the Youth Science Conference yesterday. I realised that the everyone in the VIP can do one thing really well - make good powerpoints. Sorry to say, but most of the powerpoints yesterday were eyesoers. We VIPers sure know how to make good powerpoints - and i am not gonna run down any more ppts done by the VIP.

Went for separation 40 on friday. Hung around esplanade after the play. Went to Haagen Dazs for ice cream after that along with the other v14 peeps. Stayed there till about 11.00 pm and caught the last train back home. Reached home at 12 midnight. Quite fun. I should stay out longer more often. Its really fun!

I dunno why but there seems to be a problem with blogger, or rather my blog, on Mozilla. I am using IE now.

I shall get back to studying now - must focus on bio.

Act.

Never act. Never act to change your true self. That's crap.

Don't act.
Don't try to change yourself for the worse.
Have pride within yourself.
Don't downplay yourself.
Have the power to refuse and reject.
Have the brains to know that they don't like you.
Don't be depressed that one person whom you really like isn't your friend.

A true friend isn't one who expects you to change but likes you for who you are. Just remember that.

Have the self determination to succeed.

That's all i gotta say...

Ronin.

To Levan Wee and the rest of Ronin:

Sorry if i offended you guys on my blog. I said too much without knowing the whole picture. And good luck for your gig at the WCGs.

For those who don't know what i am talking about, you can read my teachers' day post and the comments made by Levan Wee, the vocalist of Ronin, Singapore's very own rock band.

Mt Fuji

To experience a sense of deja vu go here

This article was written a long time ago by Mr James Koh. It's about our hike up Mt Fuji, our trip to Japan and about the VIP's Helmsmann Programme.

Alot of people have already read the article, but i just wanted to put it up for all those who haven't read it yet. It really brings back the memories.

VIP - Rock on.

Small.

I just came back from Science Centre. I had gone for this Photonics Talk on Fibre Optics where the properties of various types of sensors was discussed. Fibre Bragg Optics seem interesting. I shall look into it more. I went with Joel, Justin, Wilbur and Matthias. Afterwards, Matt left to see a few people, and the rest of us just ambled around Science Centre.

Anyway, that was not what I wanted to talk about. In fact yesterday, when I had gone to Cineleisure, I saw a few people, which seemed like such a coincidence. For example, my primary school friends and me were going down the escalator when I saw Yx and his primary school friends go up the escalator. What was funny was that some of my friends knew some of his friends. Quite funny actually.

As I began thinking about it, this show(6 Degrees), came to mind. For example, I know 6 people, and each of the 6 people I know will know another 6 people. Like these, I'll supposedly end up knowing the whole world. That's what the 6 degree theory is all about. Is it really possible? I wonder. Maybe it's because Singapore is small (I also ended up seeing my secondary school friends, Jared Heng and a whole load of VJ people) that everyone seems to know one another. But this just seems so surreal.
