Alakazam

Hey. I just came back from the class chalet yesterday. The first day was alright, except for the fact that it rained heavily and the whole barbecue got scrwed up. We stayed up till i about 0545 hrs i think. Quite screwed. We all went to sleep except Desmond, who stayed awake playing PS2.

When I woke the next day, my parents left to get us nasi lemak, the famous one of Changi Village. Speaking of Changi Village, I saw scary things, really scary things that freaked me out the night before. I shall not go there.

After eating the nasi lemak, we decided to play Xbox for awhile. After about 15mins, we decided to go and play pool. But wilbur and yx didn't have any pants, s0 we couldn't. We decided to go for bowling instead. We woke up Ganesh and left first to Desmond's clubhouse.

I knew I would bowl bad considering the fact that that was the first time i had ever bowled in my life. Yx and i bowled for about 2 games. Ganesh and Wilbur bowled for 3 games and Desmond for 4. After that we went back to the chalet and whiled away till about 1730hrs. I showered then we started the barbecue. The barbecue took a long time to start but after the it was set up, it was really hot.

After cooking and eating the stuff, played a bit of Winning 11 and we all played cards. Asshole Taiti. It was super fun. Ganesh was always the asshole and Yx was always hovering above the asshole zone. Super funny man. Only in the last game, did things change and Wilbur become the asshole. lol. super fun.

I decided to sleep and the rest went for a walk for some stupid reason. And after they came back, they played cards for awhile, and slept as well. There were 2 guys on each bed. Super gay. The next morning we checked out and we all left.

All in all, the chalet was quite fun. Not really too bad.

Now, it's time to get ready for Thailand. Thailand international Science Fair, here i come.

Bleh.

Hey. So I have done nothing over the past few days. Really. I bought this book at MPH that I really wanted. Its A Briefer History of Time by Stephen Hawking. It's really great. Its going to be really helpful for my Quantum Physics elective next year. My sister bought the Chronicles of Narnia. The 7 volumes costed $28 while only one volume(the 2nd one which is being made into a movie) costs $16. Really weird.

I have loads of stuff to do. I need to finish reading the air-conditioned nation. I finished the first 2 parts. I just started on the third. Its really interesting, especially the second part, which mainly talks about singapore's opposition parties. Super funny.

Blah.

Hey. So, today i went for my RMBR attachment thingy in the morning at NUS. Thanks to my sis who brought me there and treated me to lunch at munchie monkeys. We discussed about types of ecological indicators to use and we also talked about how to conduct our research. The five of us also finished the data forms that we needed.

* My sister's friend thought that I was a year 1 student. lol. *

After that I went to see my primary school friend. We both went to Wheelock Place and sat at Coffee Bean. We sat and we talked, and talked and talked. It was really great. We talked about the old days and how eveything changed. He was telling me about how the reaction was at ACS to girls joining them next year. We then walked all around Wheelock Place and we walked to Heeren where he went to see his friends. I left home.

That set me thinking. We forge the strongest bonds with our friends at primary school. I can honestly tell you that I have lost touch with most of my VS friends except for a few. My relationship with my primary school friends is much more stronger. Maybe at that young age, we tend to trust our friends a lot and maybe that's what leads to such a strong relationship. Trust is the basis of any relationship, and it tends to make or break one as well. That's why I feel that my relationship with my primary school friends is much stronger as compared to my secondary school friends. I obviously met my best friends ever in junior college.

I also began thinking about the PSL training. In retrospect, i kinda regret not becoming a PSL. But on second thoughts, I feel that those selected are worthy of doing a much better job than I. I've always had this problem of being unable to connect to those younger than me. Must be a side-effect of being the youngest kid in your whole family. I don't know. Even back in secondary school, I couldn't talk to my juniors. I just couldn't.

But i do hope to help out in the VIP orientation though! =)

And one of my friends gave me this blog address. postsecret.blogspot.com . apparently, the song dirty little secret was based on this. go and take a look. some secrets are really disturbing.

If I could I relive those days
I know the one that would never change

Every memory of looking out the back door
I have the photo that was printed on my bedroom door
Its time to say, time to say it
Goodbye, goodbye

Every memory of walking out the front door
I found the photo of the friend that I was looking for
Its time to say, time to say it
Goodbye, goodbye

Look at this photograph
Everytime I do it makes me laugh
Everytime I do it makes me

Future

You Should Get a PhD in Science (like chemistry, math, or engineering)

You're both smart and innovative when it comes to ideas.
Maybe you'll find a cure for cancer - or develop the latest underground drug.

Cool, right?

Cure for cancer? Hmm...

Bored.

Hey. As you can see, I'm bored. I have nothing else to do. I need to wake up early tomorrow to go for that RMBR thing. I need to wake up at 0645 hrs!

Today was a rather quiet day. Did my binomial theorem worksheet. Looks like mathematics next year is going to get A LOT tougher. seriously. yeah. Then my dad was like, u need to practise ur math like mad. If you can't do this kinda math, you'll find the real math like calculus really scary. I must practise hard for math. yes.

A few books that I need to finish reading:
- The Air-conditioned nation
- Tuesdays with Morrie
- My book on Relativity
- That insanely hard book on Quantum Physics
- A short history on everything

i think thats about it.

i need to rush now.
