Karma Police

Hey. Been watching the teachers' video messages. Thanks leon.

Bah, I just hate it when something like this happens.

Will you be my memory?

PS: Coldplay's cover of Can't Get You Out of My Head is super good. Haha.

DOTAAAAAAAAAAA

Hey. Today afternoon was quite mad lah. I think about 1.5 hours of DOTA. Wah, got scolded by my mom as well, telling me that i need to learn to control. First game was gay lah, lost. But in all honesty, I have no idea how I lost the 2nd one. Maybe the thought that I needed to leave, and I didn't play the game properly or smth. But nvm desmond. Haha. Nice one. But my time shall come, after i ditch the sniper dude. My max 180+ damage was nothing against your 500+ damage. IMBA. Some divine rapier. Seriously, haha.

---------------------

Going for my Youth For Causes awards ceremony tomorrow morning. Rushing down to school after that and hopefully play some ball as well. Need to rush back home since I am going for some dinner in the evening.

---------------------

I just went to Seletar Airport yesterday to see my uncle, and I think everyone should go there. I know there are many factories around the area and stuff, but the place (not the factories -.-) like the fields and stuff are super nice. It doesn't even look like singapore down there, which is why i love going down there. Really nice.

I also got to see the Youth Flying Club. Woots. Haha, my mom said I could join next year. But I bet you she thinks I'm joking or smth haha. See how.

--------------------

You cry, you whine. How you hate something so bad and how you wouldn't want it at all.

Then it comes and slaps you in your face.
And you realise how stupid you are.

Boooorrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnngggggggg

Hey. Life is depressing. It has degenerated into this mind numbingly boring routine everyday.

9.00am >>> Wake up
9 - 11 >>>> Do random, stupid stuff on comp.
11-2 >>>>> Study/Clean up my room (which usually doesn't happen)
2 -6 >>>>> Stupid useless stuff
6-6.30 >>> watch SIMPSONS!!!!
6.30 - 9 >>> watch TV again.
9 - 12 >>>> migrate to comp in hope of DOTAing.

Damn. I'm wasting my holidays away like this. I was hoping that I could go out more and play more but nothing like that seems to be happening. Bah. I need to do more constructive things that are worth remembering.

And I'm more free now, i.e. I have no more commitments for the rest of the year, which is a good thing. So I hope to do more useful stuff over the rest of the holidays. And screw youtube, it's becoming an addiction.

ARSEnal...

Hey. I can't stand Man U. Thinking about their inconsistency makes me feel like slapping them. Argh. They had better win against Chelsea, though I largely doubt that they will.

Well, I actually wanted to talk about one player in Arsenal who is SO underrated. I mean like, when people talk about arsenal, they only talk about Henry or Fabregas. In my opinion, I think Arsenal would suck balls without this one guy - Hleb.

He's my fav player in Arsenal. Honestly, I think he's the best player arsenal have got. Haha.

Apart from Henry and Fabregas that is.

------------------------------

Well, the year is going to come to an end soon. I may be going overseas for a week or so I think. I need to maximise my holidays as well! AHHHH! But the rain is always going to be there to spoil my plans.

Humdedum.

Disappointments make the joyous moments worth remembering.

Dashed at a Snap

Hey.

How would you feel if something you had endured for so long, just disappeared?

How would you feel if you were stabbed in the back?

How would you feel if all your dreams were dashed at that one moment?

I guess it was for the better that things turned out this way. At least now I truly know where they come from and what they want.

You could say that I wasn't happy there anyway. (Not trying to be sour grapes though.)

Certain things are best forgotten.

Thanks guys!

Post-NRP...

Hey. I guess I haven't blogged in a long while. I just realised that it has been like 11 days since I last blogged. Wow. Anyway, things have been quite boring and I am desperately trying to find people to play soccer with. But it has been bad. Thana pulled out at the last minute, that bugger. Hmm, anyone playing, please call me! Thanks.

-------------------------

Velvet was great. Everyone really looked great, if you know what I mean. I would I have never seen anyone like that. Bah. Met Henry and Jonathan at Orchard and walked to Hilton. I called Henry when I was at Orchard. He told me he was walking from Taka and I didn't know till he came that he had just bought his shirt. Bah.

Prom was great itself. Excessive cam-whoring. I ended up wearing the same outfit as the great leader haha. Erm, sat with desmond, eugene, shakura, tina, vanessa, jonathan, henry, shreya and olivia. Yeah. The program was quite funny and I got bullied into saying that I had the widest cleavage on stage. Embarrasing I tell you. But other than that, prom was great.

Oh yeah, I was SO suprised by the results for the prom king and queen. Sorry, poRn king. Hehe.

--------------------------

Erm, NRP is more or less over. My team got Gold. Mind you, nearly half or at least a third of the teams got gold for NRP, similar to SYF. But despite getting gold, I don't know why, but there isn't any sense of satisfaction in me. I was so much more happier with the silver I got for SYSF! Haha, it's just a feeling I guess, and I am glad NRP is coming to a closure.

However, there are still problems regarding next year's SSEF. We have to change our team and stuff and I hope it gets settled soon. I just want to forget about NRP. Yeah. Was quite shocked by ch's sms, but I don't mind haha. *Shao Sheng, if you read this, remind to tell you smth.*

-------------------------

Everyone has been getting jobs over the holidays. I got this job offer from my mom's friend to teach her son math. But see, this is the problem. He's older than me, in JC1. And I need to teach him A Math (erm, he's a retainee). I realised that it would embarrasing for him as it would be for me. And of course, my math really isn't very good. Finally, my mom said I can't teach him so it was over.

I got this other job, to proof read a set of notes. I am going to get about $100 for that, and I think it's quite good. And erm, I have another project to finish over the december holidays, which is why I am trying to learn Matlab.

-------------------------

Btw, I am reading this book called what is mathematics? and its erm, quite weird. Haha, yeah. But of course, most people wouldn't really care much about it.

Bye.

Chances Are...

Hey. Sometimes, you just feel like doing something. You want it so badly but you just don't do anything about. You just wait. And wait. And just watch it go by.

Then you wonder why you never did anything about it when you could.

-----------------------

Life's boring. Nov 7 was great. German Os ended. All form of examinations for this year has officially ended. After that, Eugene and I headed down to Thana's house to play soccer there. It was great. Thana, if you read this, I had a great time playing soccer at your neighbourhood. After about an hour or so, left to go home.

Finally went back to NTU to do some NRP stuff at the labs. We are coming closer to the end. The end date for this is Nov 18. I just can't wait for it to end man. Then I'll be really free! But then again, my parents have asked to start to prepare by revising some work and getting some prep for my SATs.

----------------------

RMBR and NRP have been polar opposites. I don't know why. There are certain similarities but the outcomes are really different. I am disappointed with myself with regards to NRP. I was never committed to it and i don't know why. I wish I had shown more interest to it from the beginning. Dreading each Saturday made me hate going to NTU more and more. Haiz. I just want to know what went wrong. But i can't. Maybe RMBR was more of a group effort who knows.

I just feel NRP was a hugh disappointment. A

And I blame myself most for that.

---------------------

Who can forget prom. A quarrel ensued between my family and myself cos I felt that burgundy went with black but they felt that it didn't. Bah. Most probably I may be getting a shirt and a blazer from G2000. EVeryone is going there.

---------------------

Can't wait for Nov 18 to come around. I have so many plans. Go pool. Go swimming in the pool. Go to the movies. Doing things freely without feeling guilty. Bah.

Please forgive me. This has been a highly lame entry.

iTunes 6.01

Hey. I think I use the oldest possible version of iTunes. Hah. Anyway, I thought it would be interesting to see which songs I listen to most on my iTunes and I was quite surprised at what they were.

1. I Want To Hold Your Hand - The Beatles
2. Rebel Yell - Toby Rand
3. Spin - Lifehouse
4. S.O.S - Abba
5. I Want U - Savage Garden
6. I'm Not Okay - My Chemical Romance
7. We Can Work It Out - The Beatles
8. The Rock Show - Blink 182
9. Does Your Mother Know - Abba
10. Charlene - The Suns

I didn't expect these songs to be the most listen to though. I think special mention goes to Rebel Yell since it was one of the latest songs that I uploaded. Yet it's one of the most frequently listened to. I guess that's what Toby Rand does to any song. Plus, it's Rebel Yell! One great, sick song.

Symposium - The End

Hey. Today morning started off with certain problems. There were problems with the fonts on our RMBR ppt. There were also some problems with the Rewind Packages at the Registration booth. But I guess it was okay. Got my subject combinations in the morning as well. PCME + Gp. Planning to the AP modules at SMU as well. Kind of expected that I would get it.

Went through the ppt a few times and we were more or less prepared. After that, went for the talk by Dr Edison Liu. Wilbur once again cracked up the crowd around him by falling asleep through out the entire presentation. We couldn't wake him up in the end either. Excessive shaking was required to wake him up. Gosh, even Edison Liu was laughing at him from the stage.

Then we rehearesed once again till about 11. I thought only each of our parents would attend the presentation, but there were quite a few other pple as well (SS! But CHAOS had more... :( )The presentation went smoothly. Everyone said that the presentation went very well and that there were hardly any flaws to pick out from the entire presentation. One area that we were never sure of was the pH of the soil, and as expected, someone asked a very valid question based on that. But I guess we tackled the question well enough. I was astounded that everyone loved our presentation so much. Thanks for all the comments! Mr LBA was quite sad that he couldn't get to see our presentation but commented on our good job nonetheless.

Thanks for everything!

And more importantly, I would like to thank the 4 of you - Wilbur, Christine, Margaret and Chun Han - for making this RMBR project such a great, unforgettable experience. Thanks for staying on despite all the problems from the various people we met (you all know who i mean...).

Thanks a lot guys.

THE KILLERS

Mr Brightside - The Killers

I'm coming out of my cage
And I've been doing just fine
Gotta gotta be down
Because I want it all

It started out with a kiss
How did it end up like this?
It was only a kiss
It was only a kiss

Now I'm falling asleep
And she's calling a cab
While he's having a smoke
And she's taking a drag
Now they're going to bed
And my stomach is sick
And it's all in my head
But she's touching his chest now
He takes off her dress now
Let me go

And I just can't look
It's killing me
And taking control

(Courus)
Jealousy
Turning saints into the sea
Swimming through sick lullabies
Choking on your alabis
But it's just the price i pay
Destiny is calling me
Open up my eager eyes
Cause I'm Mr. Brightside

------------------------------------------------

This sucks. I just typed a super long post and it just disappeared. Anyway, the killers rock. I love them. You can't get tired of their songs no matter how many time you listen to them. Apparently, their new album is coming out soon too. Which is great.

Their lyrics are very meaningful too, and relevant to me.

-----------------------------------------------

Got a glimpse of what Rewind looks like. Looks great and we're getting a CD as well containing all the various VIP fonts and vids and stuff like that. I think we;re getting a copy of the VIP journal as well, and i think my group's RM report may be in it. Haha.

A shout out to the whole Project Rewind committee for doing such a great job!

Third lang LC Os were quite scrwed. I didnt know the conversation had ended and half my questions were blank. So I really don't know what to do and to expect! Frau Tan would kill me if she realised that I left so many questions blank.

Oh yah. After LC, I went to shop with Desmond and Wilbur. Shopping with guys is a very weird experience. Guys can't shop. Its a fact. Though some do enjoy it, majority find it a chore, and only shop when an absolutely necessary event is nearing. That reminds me. I need a new pair of pants and a blazer.I shall have to G2000 them.

Tomorrow is symposium, the final IP event of the year! Well, not really if you count in IP orientation but still! Please come down! And msg to the IP2s, albeit late, the Rewind and other stuff will be given out when you all come! So please come!

Thanks a lot. For everything.

B=Bold

Hey. I don't know what I to blog about right now. Let's do a boring entry on what happened today.

So, I had to be in school today at 9am for symposium prep. I ended up waking at 740am and rushed out of the house at 8am. So tried to memorise the script on the way there. Reached school at about 930am I think and got screwd by the security guard for wearing berms and sandals to school.

So we tried to rehearse for awhile but wilbur wasn't there yet. So we got the powerpoint ready first and played CS for a while after that. Then wilbur came and we rehearsed once when we realised that we had the wrong powerpoint. So we tried dling another version of the BTNR powerpoint.

All this while, nazri was sleeping on the v12 couch, a perfect position for a tau pok. Considering the fact that mark, ch, wilbur, cleaven, justin and I were all in class, we decided to tau pok the poor sleeping guy. We did and we all fell to the floor after which I got taupoked. Then Mr Yang came over and scolded us for making too much noise.

After Mr Teo came, we presented to him. He also told us that on Friday, the IP1s would 'colonise' our classrooms. Tragic. Markhsx talked about waging a war or smth, but i think everyone just laughed at him. Lol. I also got to learn about how stuff would be like next year from a few people. Interesting.

Then, only a few guys were left in class and we spent it taking turns playing CS. Super fun lah. NOt just the playing, but the screaming and shouting when a person played. SUper fun. Haha. Naz, Justin, Samuel, and of course Cleaven Chia. Super fun playing CS with them on my lappy. (Wilbur and Ch were there but they left early)

After that came back home. I could't get dinner from macs since I fell asleep on the train. ENded waking up at Jurong East I think and it has just finished raining. Went home, ate and just bummed around, watching videos of Ron/Hermione(as in music videos of the both of them) and HP trailers. Plus the usual dose of Marty Casey and a bit of Scary Movie.

Then slacked away...

-------------------------

Desmond just sent me a highly disturbing document, and i have read it like what 10 times over.

Creepy.
