Back.
Hey. I am finally back, half the month gone.
I think this happened with Japan last year as well. I start to miss the place badly after I leave. I really miss SFO and LAX. Those few days were really great. I got to talk to my friends and seniors more as well, which is a good thing. Now, I finally have a direction in life, after visiting Apple and Google. I am going to work in Apple. Just wait. Maybe not Google, but definitely Apple.
San Fran was nice, the weather was kinda good too. Visited a few companies at Silicon Valley and 2 universities, Berkeley and Stanford. Hopefully I can get a scholarship to go to one of those unis, since they cost a BOMB.
And Apple. It was just super cool lah. Everything there was just... WOW. I don't know lah. I wasn't that fond of Apple before I went, but after I saw everything, it just seemed so great. Really. Google was great too. So much of food. Working there would be great too. But Google is more software based. And programming is quite scary lah. I would prefer to work more on the hardware side. A bit more fun.
We also saw 2 plays. Both were good but I preferred the first one. The Beatles musical. It was quite good and I liked most of the songs they sang, and considering the fact that they were our age, it was a really good performance.
We also went to Delancey Street Foudation, which had something to do with social entrepreneurship. A few days were spent really well in San Fran, after which we left to LA.
On the way to LA, we stopped over for one night at Gilroy, where we shopped the WHOLE day. The next day was LA.
I can only remember Disneyland and Universal Studios. The 5 of us namely Zhong Min, Jonathan, Henry, Daniel and I managed to go on all the major rides in Disneyland, which is a major feat. The ended with a wonderful display of fireworks and the whole group waiting for 2 pple. Haha.
Universal Studios was great as well. We went on most of the rides and attended most of the shows. We only missed the Waterworld show. We also bought a $5 free refill drink, and 7 of us shared it. I think we had about 7 to 8 refills, which is quite good considering that each drink costed $3 alone. OK. nvm.
A few highlights of the trip.
I was at the aiport when I realised that I had left my 1GB SD card at home.
We were to report at 0755hrs one day. (I slept with Jonathan and SS.) I woke up in the morning and saw the clock. 0747hrs. I stared at the clock for 1 min before screaming. Don't ask how 3 guys got ready in 7 mins. You wouldn't want to know.
The girls loved the Victoria Secrets Shop. So many of them were always carrying a VS bag. Some of us paid respects to VS.
Henry and Zhong Min loved taking photos with random girls. And I am sure the girls who took photos with them were either drunk or had just smoked pot. Really.
8 guys in a jacuzzi doesn't really look good.
American TV rocks. No, we didn't watch porn.
I got an iPod nano. Don't ask me why.
The Americans destroyed my suitcase.

I think that's about it. Now to get started on my homework.
PS: My photos are with MR Ng, I'll upload them later.
