beyond borders
beyond borders - a suitable title for my japan trip; one that i would never forget for a long time. i thot of penning down those great days i spent in tokyo and kawaguchi before i forget them. pics will be uploaded into photo album later. as for now, i'll just tell you what happened. i know a lot of pple have done this, but who the hell cares?
DAY 1 -
started of well. my whole fan club came to the airport to send me off. i entered the airport and i thot i was the first guy to be there. but as i slowly trudged to counter 11 i saw the whole group of vipers... man was i shocked. i mean, there must have been like 70 to 80 pple at the counter, talking away... i found a few empty seats at one corner and sat there with my family. MS toh and amanda were supposed to be there to sort out the passports and stuff. but they were no where to be found. as i waited, i saw henry and his friend beale and his parents. i think he was the first guy from v14 i saw. then pearlyn came, then beatrice and aaron and diane... lost track already... i started laughing when desmond came, but i must admit, kewl pink hairband. then dhevy collected the ICS tickets from me, and apparently my dad scared her(according to my sis and the look on her face). poor dhevy. i shall ask her after she comes back from SV. Den MS toh came at ard 0615 hrs. jonathan and i helped her to sort and give out the passports, the tickets and the stickers. we couldn't find the tickets of a few pple, but i dunno what happened to them, cuz i supposed to check in first(with ganesh whom i was supposed to sit with on the flight for 6 hrs but didnt). after that ms toh asked me to give out the caps for the trip and i did, but i had 1 cap left, which ms toh grudgingly accepted. den we all waited, took a few photos, said tata and entered the immigrations where only my bag was checked. argh. den i went to the counter. a few PRCs before were having some problem, but i hope they're alright. after going in, i said bye to my fan club again and waited for my friends, before going to my gate. the queue at the gate was very long, considering the number of pple there were. we were outside the gate when i saw arjun and i called him a blockhead but he didnt do anything. i was wondering why he didnt do anything when suddenly, he punched me like 10 mins later, when we were inside the gate after the security check and stuff. it was really funny. i was making fun of him like free after that.
den we all got onto the plane. 6 hrs journey. i was sitting beside ganesh at the back. the atmosphere on the plane was like none i had seen. it was really great. everyone walking around, playing cards, talking cock. i really liked it. soon desmond came over to my place and ganesh went to the back to play and talk with a few of the v13 pple. dessy called cheryl, pearlyn and diane over and we were all talking abt some pple. aaron low was stuck sitting with all teh teachers(he was in between ms tay and mr teo) which wasnt all that bad. and antz was going around somewhere with some pple(happy birthday btw). after a while, the superly pissed air hostess came along, lied to us that there was turbulence and made us go back to our places. from then onwards we all just sat at our places. i was listening to my MP3s and tried to sleep but after seeing dessy wipe some drool of his face, i couldnt really sleep. a while later, i fell asleep as the plane landed.
we landed at ard what time i oso dunno. must be lyk 4 or 5 i think. we then checked out, got out luggage and went to our various coaches. i was on coach 2, with Mrs Jay, Aunty E and Uncle T and Shak(3 really nice teachers and and extremely funny kid). there were quite a few pple from v14 as well- jonathan, aaron low, desmond, ser en, audrey yep... but there was this gang of us at the back, me, aaron low, yee jek, yvonne and tristan. i think tristan and co. scared yj but that's besides the point. and this whole congregration occured a few days later, and not on the first day, and i shall not digress anymore., leaving that job to the in-house digressor. i was sitting with jonathan, dessy, aljw, ms low mr teo and mrs jay and shak at the back of the bus.
i think i shall go to sleep now and continue tomorrow. gd night.
